When you call Kool Energy for a new equipment proposal, we will schedule an appointment at your convenience to come to your home. This is what you can expect from us:
• Determining the correct equipment size for your home: If an HVAC contractor asks you the square footage of your home to determine equipment size, he is taking a shortcut. You may end up with a unit that is not a good fit for your home. There are many factors other than square footage that are important in determining the size of equipment. Using Manual J computer software, Kool Energy will measure your entire home and account for factors such as doors, windows, walls, attic and wall insulation, roof-type, even the number of people in your home.
• Written Proposal Presentation: Taking into consideration your personal preferences as well as the equipment size determined by the Manual J calculation, we will present you with at least three different new equipment options. This will be a written quote, not an estimate. After you choose the right equipment for you, an invoice/contract will be drawn up which will include all work to be done. You will know in advance the exact investment and the exact work to be completed. No surprises with Kool Energy!
